On a weekly level, ShopperTrak’s NRSE reported sales for the week ending November 21st were up 0.9 percent as compared to last year, while weekly sales increased 0.2 percent versus the previous seven day period ending November 14th. Bill Martin, co-founder of ShopperTrak says, “Retailers have already begun to promote their "door buster" sales for Black Friday and many are promoting other "sales" throughout the weekend after Thanksgiving. We will be providing special NRSE GAFO Sales Estimates for Black Friday, Black Saturday and the post-Thanksgiving weekend. Watch for the updates over the weekend.”
