ShopperTrak dedicates the Pilot Process to addressing this fundamental question.  You will start receiving answers (and asking more questions) almost immediately.  ShopperTrak provides two customized analyses, delivered in person to your key executives, to ensure that the information you receive meets your ROK threshold for your pilot.  

The Mid-Pilot Review 

The Mid-Pilot Review is designed to allow a ShopperTrak professional to show you the new perspective on company performance that traffic and conversion rate data provides.  Using your first four weeks of data, we will drill through your reports from a summary view down to traffic and conversion rate at the hourly level by store. We will point out key indicators and discuss how to interpret the new metrics in your reports, but, most importantly, we will listen to your questions and make sure you are extracting all the insights that your new traffic reports make available to you.

The Opportunity Assessment (Eight Weeks)

After eight weeks, the ShopperTrak Analytics Group prepares a comprehensive, customized presentation examining the traffic-based business results of your pilot stores. While the data set covers a relatively short time period, ShopperTrak uses its years of experience to:

  • Examine overall trends in the traffic, sales, and conversion rate for all stores
  • Determine the impact of labor coverage (Shopper to Associate Ratio) on conversion rate
  • Calculate your “Yield on Traffic” and improvement opportunities by day of the week
  • Compare “sister store” performance and discuss reasons for variance
  • Evaluate the impact of marketing or other initiatives on traffic and conversion levels
  • Answer all the questions you will have
